Hmm, it looks like you have a lot of potential. While I'm seeing huge improvement in your own drawings, your base edits are moving at a slower pace. I'm not sure if you're familiar with colour theory or how light impacts direction of shadows (which gives me huge problems), but familiarizing yourself with those things first is a good way to start improving colouring. In some drawings, I notice that you use lighter colours as a "shadow". While I'm assuming you do that to make the clothes appear shiny, it's better to first just make it look like normal cloth and then add details to change the fabric. First shadow, then highlight it (you can even use luminosity) to make it appear shiny. Be careful with luminosity, though, sometimes it'll appear just white. You can also control the opacity and make the shine less prominent if that happens.
With hair, analyze your own hair, look at the way it moves or how it shapes when you do a certain action or position it a certain way. While the hair you draw is very good, the hair around the head is too attached (unless that's what you're going for...xD).
Some suggestions for the base edits. You don't have to take them, however. I'm not very good and I'm constantly changing trying to better things. Great work! :D
