Vampires chapter 13

Britt was in between being out of it and conscious but when she was conscious she'd smile at everyone. Sometimes Zoey would get her full of energy so she'd be all ready to go to school. Britt faught with going to school under her circumstances but Atem made sure she went. Britt grumbled a little but there was nothing she could do, he was stronger than her because of his vampirisim. She knew where her fate would lead her if she couldn't find a cure.


A cure, oh how I long for a cure to fix my king and my vampire friends. Though it may be too late for the child. Britt thought  

They all got in the big van, Atem had Britt be with him in the back seat so they had distance from the others and then he had her lay on his chest. Britt couldn't help but giggle.

“Atem, this is a bit much.” Britt said

“You need a place to rest on the way to school.” He said to her

Zoey got in the driver seat as her brother was up beside her, the rest of them were in the middle. Britt had closed her eyes as they were backing out. On the way there was a blurr for Britt as she slept most of the way there, and when they arrived at school. She was awakened though as they went in, most of the day was a blurr.

One problem for Britt and the girls was their cheerleading practice. They had done it to blend in but now Britt was hardly able to stay awake. Yet once Zoey gave her another one of those drinks she was fine. After practice they were heading to meet the guys when a Ferrari pulled up and the all knowing Damon was looking at them.

“Come on Britt, get in.” Damon said

Britt ignored him as she wasn't in the mood to deal with vampires, no matter how much she wanted vampires on her side. She was making her way to her vampire king, when Damon got infront of her. She was annoyed to say the least because of what she'd found out a few days ago.

“What Damon? We had a deal. I gave you some of my blood, in return you get me an army of Vampires.” Britt said to him annoyed

“I know and I always keep my word. But, I want more of your blood.” Damon said

Zoey got infront of her, which made her back up to the other vampire girls. Miranda and Nina grabbed Britt and rushed over to Atem quickly.

“No, you can't have your blood. She's in no condition to give any to anyone.” Zoey told Damon and slapped him.

Then she walked over to the rest of the others, Atem had a hold of Britt close to him but she looked back at Damon who was watching them. She didn't want anyone to know about the baby but hiding it wasn't going to be an option. Damon wasn't about to give up but he smirked at them.

“oh, we'll see.” He said then went back to his car and dart off.

They all got in the truck, but after that day Atem had convinced the school Britt needed excused from cheerleading practice and to have her work sent home. Miranda had been Britt's private tutor during the time she was home because of the vampire baby. Time wasn't even known before they knew it only a few months had passed before the time had come. Britt cried out because it was painful, Zoey knew there was no way of taking her to the hospital so she had everyone help take her to a spare room they had added.

“A-Atem.” Britt said worried

Atem went to her and held her hand “I'm right here.” He told her.

Zoey helped her through most of the process as that was what needed to be done. She had her brother get the drinks because she knew Britt would need them.

An hour and a half passed since then, and finally the baby half vampire had been born.

Britt was weak for about a week, they were always giving her the drinks and switching who was watching her. Atem mostly was watching over the baby that they had named Rei.

Britt was asleep one day dreaming peacefully and Atem had came in with Rei. He saw she was asleep and went over carefully laying beside her keeping Rei in his arms. Rei leaned over and put a hand on his mother's cheek.

Hopefully things will get better and that Damon guy will back off. Zoey thought
