NP and the Poe pt. 21 pt. 1

For the next week Britt was put on Bed rest under Isis's orders though she didn't want to rest after three days of being in bed. Atem would come to check on her bringing Rei and the girls with him since Britt didn't want maids doing much of the work while she was on bed rest. He handed her Keda and she carefully took her and smiled.

“just a few more days my Queen.” Atem said to her

“It feels like it's taking forever.” She said

Rei sat between them enjoying these moments with his family, Britt looked up at him as she was holding Keda then ruffled his hair with her free hand. Rei laughed and looked at her as she smiled at him.

“you're my good boy.” She said

Rei laughed and both his parents smiled, Kamari was asleep in Atem's arms but eventually she opened her eyes and looked up at him. Atem and Britt looked at her seeing she was awake, Kamari just had an open mouth smile which made both of them smile. Keda soon also opened her eyes and did the same as her sister which brightened Britt up even though she was on bed rest.
Next few days seemed to go by fast, but Britt was soon back and she went to their training room. Atem was busy with hearing the peoples complaints and he was slightly bored. Rei followed his mom to see what she was doing. He saw that she entered the training room and he peeked in the room to see she was all alone.
Britt used deep breaths and calmed herself after being in bed rest for so long, she had to get  her power back up to where she had it. Nile Blue energy formed around Britt and she opened her eyes, her eyes for a second resembled the energy around her. She raised her hands and water from near by came to her, she used it to form a scepter then she concentrated as her amulet glowed soon revealing her soul Ka.
Atem sensed the presence of a strong Ka so when he was done he followed his thoughts of where he figured it was. As he came toward the training room he saw Rei peeking in so he looked in too. What surprised him was seeing Britt in there and her Ka. Suddenly though he noticed she wasn't alone and saw the other girls Britt hanged out with in the room. Their kas were out too, but they were sitting down so he wondered.

What is Britt up to? Atem thought

Britt smiled as she raised her hand to the dragon along with using her other hand to the others.

“Goddess's pets I call you to come, you are the servants of the Goddess but the Kas of my strongest friends.” Britt said to the Ka

Atem watched in curiosity but as he saw the Kas come to her, he started to realize Britt's heart held these Kas within her since they listened.

So her friends are connected to her and her Goddess? Amazing. Britt is full of mystery sometimes. Atem thought
